Sober Up Run rescheduled due to fantastic weather ~ A couple feet of snow and then -10° to -15° F temperatures was enough to keep nearly everyone home. Rescheduled for Third Weekend in February, it will be a two day run this year. Hopefully, the weather will moderate and give us some pleasant wheelin' temps.
Elections are complete, new officers have been installed. Heh.
MIOBI Members again competed in the Street Warriors Class at the Monster Jam.
Street Warriors was a great show! This group was a rock crawling group, but they did well in the arena and all of them came with their game face on.
Scott RISIUS was the winner and he handled all three shows. Kudo's to
Andy Stock who really helped make this a great event and bring us good people and great equipment.

Turkey Day Run ~ MIOBI members only. The 28th and 29th. Open to Midwest4WDA members, $15 a day plus camp fee. Non-members (as always) can join BEFORE you wheel, this is not a free pass like we normaly give. Check In table will open at 9 AM, be sure to stop and sign the waiver.
People wanting to join should note that since the year is nearly over, the membership fee will cover you thru next year and you won't have to renew until 2011.
The Toys-4-Tots Event is complete. Alot of rigs (around 80) showed up to support T4T's, and some great weather showed up as well. It had been raining the week previously, so there was a fair bit of mud. However, many trails were a perfect combination of wet\dry which makes for tacky traction.
There where 54 tickets sold that makes $540 from the Power Tank Raffle.
A big Thank you to Wheelinevents.com for donating the power tank. There was $620 cash taken in for the kids. Also there is a huge load of toys in the trailor.
With the cash MIOBI is going to buy 4 bikes (2 smaller and 2 medium sizes). The rest of the cash will be donated to the T4T cash fund.
